I have received a number of compliments on the format and content of my new resume, but none as important as the one that got me an office visit at a consulting company…The recruiting manager for the company brought me in for an office visit the week of Christmas and commented that I was the only out of town candidate they have ever brought in without a company referral (they primarily only hire local candidates). She went on to explain that the information and format of my resume played a big part in helping her determine I was very qualified for a position within the company and is essentially what led me to receive a call back…which ultimately led me to accepting an offer two Fridays ago…
